This is a consumer alert you can't afford to ignore

The company Acacia Srl is the only holder of the exclusive rights of the mark WSP Italy. Acacia is producer in outsourcing of alloy wheels with certifications TUV and ISO 9001 and is credited by Italian Ministry of Transports (docs in attachment). Acacia discovered lately that one of its Russian customers - who is not buying anymore since August 2008 - counterfeited its alloy wheels by using its mark WSP Italy on the wheel and on the box. These wheels entered Russian market accompanied by fake certifications GOST-R n. POCC IT MT20.B09756 – POCC.RU.0001.11. MT20 – issued on 27th October 2008 and valid until 26th October 2011 issued by MADI-FOND as these certificates are headed only to ACACIA SRL but used by this customer without holder's authorization.

It means that these fake wheels – albeit accompanied by this GOST-R certification - were produced without the quality control of Acacia and not in conformity with the production process of Acacia Srl and they are being sold in Russia. It means also that these wheels have been produced not in accordance with Russian safety, public health, and quality standards and these fraudulent items pose significant safety hazards and could be dangerous for consumers. These wheels also bear Acacia's commercial codes like W + 3 or 4 numbers identifying the car's model to which the wheel would be adaptable (e.g. W648 or W3602) .

As a consequence of this counterfeit, ACACIA Srl urges the consumers to:

1. Not buy and not use counterfeit alloy wheels WSP Italy ;

2. Purchase WSP Italy alloy wheels only from reliable and reputable sources:

All the others wheels bearing mark WSP Italy and not bought by ACACIA SRL or by an authorized reseller are counterfeit and not genuine. We alert all of you to be very careful of that and to check always the authenticity of the products and not to buy wheels WSP Italy by other companies.

Please use established vendors who purchase their goods from legitimate distributors and genuine manufacturers.

3. Remember Acacia Srl will DECLINE ANY RESPONSIBILITY for any possible damage or loss resulting from the use of its products bearing the mark WSP Italy and not produced or not sold by Acacia Srl because those wheel are fake, not genuine and not respecting safety standards.

4. If you already bought the same products by other companies , please DO NOT SELL them but recall them and ask refund for those wheels because they are FAKE and if you already sold them , we warn you to inform soon your customers to be careful because they bought fake wheels.
